Ontario Parks' own official page (https://www.ontarioparks.ca/park/killarney/activities) states: "La Cloche Silhouette Trail 80 km loop (7-10 days) strenuous." Killarney Outfitters, a local outfitter embedded in the park (https://killarneyoutfitters.com/trip-planning/la_cloche_silhouette_killarney_trail_guide.php), independently states "78km - loop" and separately notes the trail was rerouted in 2004 (+3km added around campsite H8 to bypass a bridge) -- a plausible source of the small ~2.5% gap between the two figures (a map-vintage difference, not a real disagreement about the trail). Both sources agree: this is a genuine loop, no out-and-back doubling applies -- confirmed before this fix, not assumed. Using Ontario Parks' 80km as the governing park authority's own figure, matching this catalog's standing priority for official park-authority sources over commercial ones (same as every other authoritative-source correction here). Previous distanceKm (73.7km, from the imported OSM geometry alone) was a real ~8% undercount against either source -- same pattern as Wonderland Trail's OSM-simplification gap.
